RCTenn, a plastics injection molding company, is expanding – creating 45 new jobs and investing $1.3 million in the facility.
“This is their second plant expansion,” said Gallatin Mayor Jo Ann Graves. “We are excited to watch them continue to grow, bring jobs to our community and remain an active corporate citizen in Gallatin.” Read the entire news release from the State of Tennessee here.

The survey is distributed to 15,500 households and businesses in the first quarter of the year. Results are returned through March and April. Results are then tabulated. (April 26, 2013) The City of Gallatin now has an on-line link for residents or property owners in the City limits to sign up for the “Do Not Solicit” list.
The City established the “Do Not Solicit” list last summer for City residents who do not want uninvited door-to-door sales people and other solicitors at their home.
All door-to-door peddlers, solicitors, and itinerant vendors are required to secure and exhibit their solicitor permit which is issued by the City Recorder’s Office. When they receive a permit, they are also given the most current “Do Not Solicit” list.
“As the warmer months arrive, we typically have several people wanting door-to-door sales permits,” said Mayor Jo Ann Graves. “Most of these vendors behave respectfully, but occasionally one or two tend to be overly assertive.”
To put your home address on the “Do Not Solicit” list, you must live within the City limits. The sign-up form is available on-line at www.gallatinonthemove.com under the “I Want To” tab.
If, for any reason, you feel threatened by a door-to-door sales person, please contact the Gallatin Police Department at 452-1313 or dial 911.
For information about the list and the permits issued by the City, please contact the City Recorder’s Office at 451-5895.
